The Hit List is a cover album by Joan Jett. The album was released in 1990. All of the tracks are covers of famous songs.

"Dirty Deeds" was released as a 7-inch vinyl single and also cassette single, backed with the non-LP track "Let It Bleed", a cover of the Rolling Stones song. "Love Hurts" was released as the second single (cassette only), featuring "Handyman" on the reverse side (the song is a Jett/Laguna composition and originally appeared on 1983's Album). "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" was released as a single in South America and Europe, where it saw great success. It was backed with "Up From the Skies".
