The Happytime Murders

The Happytime Murders is an upcoming noir-comedy puppet film being produced by Henson Alternative, an adult-targeted brand of The Jim Henson Company.[1] The studio intends to release the film with an R rating.[2] The film will be directed by Brian Henson, son of famous puppeteer Jim Henson, and written by Todd Berger. So far, actress Katherine Heigl will star.[3]

Synopsis

The plot follows puppet ex-cop Phil Phillips, as he the hunts for cast members of an 80's children show titled The Happytime Gang in hopes of finding his brother's killer. Joining him will be Phil's human ex-flame (played by Katherine Heigl).[4]
