The Getaway People
The Getaway People is a musical group formed in 1994 in Stavanger, Norway.[1] A modified version of their song "Six Pacs" from the album Turnpike Diaries was used as the theme song for the TV series Young Americans.[2] Their song "Good Life" from the same album has been covered by Jesse McCartney. Three of their songs (Six Pacs, Good Life, and There She Goes) were featured in second-season episodes of Malcolm in the Middle.[3] There She Goes is also featured in the 2002 film The Sweetest Thing starring Cameron Diaz, Bring It On starring Kirsten Dunst and A Lot Like Love starring Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet.
