The Ferryman (Chinese: 擺渡人) is an upcoming Chinese comedy-drama film written and directed by Zhang Jiajia and produced by Wong Kar-wai[1] with Alibaba Pictures.[2][3][4] It is based loosely on Zhang's own book Passing From Your World in the collection I Belonged to You.[5] It is scheduled for release in late 2015.[1]
