The Deep Purple is a 1920 American silent crime drama film directed by Raoul Walsh from a play co-written by Wilson Mizner and Paul Armstrong. The picture stars Miriam Cooper and Helen Ware and is a remake of a the 1915 film The Deep Purple. The survival status of the 1920 film is classified as unknown,[1] which suggests that it is a lost film.
Plot
A country girl goes to New York City and struggles when she falls into the clutches of the various denizens of the underworld.[2]
