The Church, an Australian alternative rock band formed in Sydney in 1980, have released 21 studio albums, 12 compilation albums, nine extended plays and 33 singles.[1][2] An additional studio album was released by three members of the band as Refo:mation in 1997.[1][2]

Several of the albums listed under the "Compilation albums" section are rarities and outtakes collections. A Quick Smoke at Spot's: Archives 1986-1990 is a compilation of otherwise unavailable original songs which was originally released as a bonus disc with the 2-CD set of Priest=Aura. Hindsight features tracks from the band's albums to 1987, plus hitherto-uncollected B-sides of singles to that date. Tin Mine features three original tracks otherwise unavailable, one recorded live. Parallel Universe is a 2-CD set with one CD (Mixture) consisting of significantly remixed versions of tracks from After Everything Now This, with the second CD consisting of otherwise unavailable original recordings from the sessions for that album. Beside Yourself consists largely of outtakes from the sessions for the studio album Forget Yourself, with several other rarities.
