The Call of the Cumberlands is a 1916 American drama silent film directed by Frank Lloyd and written by Charles Neville Buck and Julia Crawford Ivers. The film stars Dustin Farnum, Winifred Kingston, Herbert Standing, Page Peters, Howard Davies and Richard L'Estrange. The film was released on January 23, 1916, by Paramount Pictures.[1][2]
Plot
Apparently based on a novel of the same name written by one of the screenwriters, Charles Neville Buck, in 1913. The story is about a family feud in the mountains of Kentucky. [3]
