The Boulevard Mall is located at 3528 S. Maryland Pkwy in Paradise, Nevada, United States (an unincorporated town in the Las Vegas Valley). The mall is owned by GE 2003-C2 Boulevard Mall, LLC a subsidiary of Midland Loan Services and formerly by Rouse Properties who returned the mall to its lender by deed in lieu of foreclosure when it failed to redevelop the property as it had originally intended. The mall is a single story, enclosed, super regional mall with 1,180,000 sq ft (110,000 m2) of lease-able retail space. The mall has 140 stores and 4 anchor stores.[1]
History
The mall was developed by businessmen Moe Dalitz, Allard Roen, Irwin Molasky and Merv Adelson.[2] It opened in 1968, making it the oldest mall in Las Vegas. It was last renovated in 1992. It kept the title of The Largest Mall in Southern Nevada until The Fashion Show Mall's renovation in 2003.[1]
There is a time capsule buried in front of the mall to be opened 100 years after it was buried.
