The Best of Waylon Jennings is a 1970 album by Waylon Jennings released on RCA Records. It contains several singles and popular album tracks. In Europe, RCA added three songs to the album (including Waylon's then-current single, "Singer Of Sad Songs"), making the European version slightly superior to the U.S. version.
"Delia's Gone" has also been recorded by Johnny Cash for The Sound of Johnny Cash (1962) and American Recordings (1994).
In 1978, RCA reissued this album with upgraded cover art. Five years later, RCA issued an abridged (8-song) budget version of this LP. In 1988, RCA reissued the original 10-song album on Compact Disc as RCA 6327-2-R.
