Thane Vaibhav publishes a newspaper for children known as Balvaibhav.[2] Balvaibhav is also read by Adivasi students in over 50 Thane schools.[2]

Thane Vaibhav was founded in 1975 by Mr. Narendra Ballal, a journalist.[2]

Thane Vaibhav also conducts events such as Thane Vaibhav Summer Cricket Tournament, and Thanevaibhav Inter Association Carom Tournament.[3] This tournament was meant for the company and industrial workers residing in Thane.
