Thane (Lok Sabha constituency)
Thane Lok Sabha constituency (Marathi: ठाणे लोकसभा मतदारसंघ) (formerly, Thana Lok Sabha constituency) is one of the 48 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies of Maharashtra state in western India.[1]
Assembly segments
At present, after the implementation of the Presidential notification on delimitation on February 19, 2008, Thane Lok Sabha constituency comprises six Vidhan Sabha (legislative assembly) segments. These segments are:

In 1952 and 1957, this Thane area contributed two members to Lok Sabha.
Thane seat's area was part of Bhiwandi constituency in 1967 and 1971. From Bhiwandi: 1967: Baswant of Congress. 1971: Shrikrishna Dhamankar, Congress
