National anthem of Monaco
He is probably best known for his work writing the 1st edition lyrics for the "Hymne Monégasque," the national anthem of Monaco. The first time the "Hymne Monégasque" was publicly performed, was the fall of 1867, with music by fellow Monegasque Charles Albrecht.[1] Bellando de Castro was awarded the Order of St. Charles.
