Tetrapterys methystica (syn. Tetrapteris methystica) is a psychoactive plant native to Amazon rainforest. Despite limited analytic information, the alkaloids are believed to be closely related to Banisteriopsis caapi which contains harmala alkaloids and MAOIs.[1] More recently, the vine has been exported from Peru as "Grey Ayahuasca". [2]
