The film was also known as Blood Creature when rereleased in the US.
Plot
A mad scientist changes a panther into a humanoid beast... and the beast escapes.

Production
The working titles of the film were Creature from Blood Island, The Gory Creatures, Island of Terror and Gore Creature.[1] According to the onscreen credits, the film was shot entirely in Manila, Philippines.[2]
Release
The film was released in the USA on November 1959.[3] It was re-released on February 5, 1965.
In Mexico, it was released on June 1, 1967.[4]
Reception
Reception for the film has been mostly negative. It currently holds a "Rotten" rating from five reviews on Rotten Tomatoes .[5]
