Terence McRae

Terence Michael ("Terry") McRae (1941–2006) was a former Australian politician. A lawyer, he was Australian Labor Party member of the South Australian House of Assembly from 1970 to 1989, representing the electorate of Playford.[1] He was Speaker of the House from 1982 to 1986 and was responsible for the introduction of television coverage to South Australian Parliament.

After leaving parliament he resumed his career in the law, which consisted largely of workers' compensation claims. McRae died in 2006.
