American comedy rock band Tenacious D has released three studio albums, two extended play (EP), four singles, two video albums, ten music videos and 33 Live Music Archive bootleg releases.

Tenacious D was formed in 1994 by lead singer Jack Black and lead guitarist Kyle Gass.[1] The band signed to Epic Records in 2000, and released its debut studio album, Tenacious D, in September 2001.[2] The next year the band released its first EP, D Fun Pak a companion to their first album. Tenacious D's second studio album was also the soundtrack to their first feature film The Pick of Destiny. This was supported by a global concert tour. A documentary looking at this tour, entitled D Tour: A Tenacious Documentary has been released on DVD and Blu-ray in The Complete Masterworks part 2, which also contains a full live show. In 2012, they released their third album, Rize of the Fenix.

As of May 2012 the combined sales of The Pick of Destiny and the band's self-titled debut stand at 3 million copies worldwide.[3] According to Nielsen SoundScan, in the US the combined sales of the first two albums stand at 1.6 million copies.[4] In the UK, the self-titled album sold 582,827 copies while The Pick of Destiny sold only 192,127 copies as of 2012.[5]
