Temple Baptist Church

Temple Baptist Church is a church located in Powell, Tennessee. The Pastor is Clarence Sexton.

Temple Baptist Church is located at 1700 Beaver Creek Drive in Powell. The pastor is also the President of a large Christian college, the Crown College of the Bible.

The church operates a fleet of buses that bring about 500 children to Sunday school every week. As of 2008, the program cost about $1,000 per week.[1]

In February 2012, Rick Santorum gave a campaign speech from the church pulpit during his campaign for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Presidency.[2]
