Telikin
Telikin is a brand of touch-screen computer marketed primarily to senior citizens and those who may be uncomfortable or unable to access a traditional keyboard and mouse computer.[1] The home screen features a panel of application buttons in large text on the side for quick access to news, video chat, email and Web.[2] The Telikin line of MSi-based all-in-one desktop computers is developed and distributed by Venture 3 Systems[3] based in Hatfield, Pennsylvania[4] and founded by Fred Allegrezza, launched the Telikin on Black Friday 2010.[5]

- Telikin Touch, the $699 base model with an 18" screen.

- Telikin Elite, an Elite $999 model with a 20" screen [6] which substitutes Touch:
- 20” (16:9), 1600 x 900 Touch Panel
- AMD dual core 1.6GHz processor
- 2GB DDR3 Memory
- 500Gb 3.5 SATA ll hard drive
- Stereo speakers with SRS technology
- .3MP webcam with microphone
- 1 HDMI out
- Telikin Elite II the $1179 model with a 22" screen, which substitutes Elite:
- 21.5” (16:9), 1920 x 1080 Touch Panel
- Intel 1037U Celeron dual core processor
- 3W Stereo speakers with SRS technology
- 1.0MP webcam with microphone
- 4 in 1 memory card reader
Software
Tiny Core Linux is the operating system modified and developed by Venture 3 Systems. Applications such as the web browser, email program, and a basic office program are custom-made and built into the operating system.[6]
A large print paperback manual accompanies each model which details the minimal assembly connections, account setup and use of the custom software.
