Telford Cut

Telford Cut is a coal mine in South Australia and current terminus of the Stirling North to Marree line. Its product is used by the Northern Power Station, Port Augusta.

Township

The town supporting the mine is at Leigh Creek.

Transport

The railway finishes in a balloon loop.[1] The standard gauge railway used to continue to Marree until 1980, while the narrow gauge railway used to continue to Alice Springs.
