Te land ter zee en in de lucht (On land at sea and in the air) is the longest running Dutch amusement television show. It was first aired in 1971. In 2006 the 35th season of the TROS program was recorded and broadcast. It is still a popular show and travels through the country during the summer.

Types of 'Te land ter zee en in de lucht'

Contestants must race along a track in self-made vehicles. Most parts of the game take place above water, and getting to the end of the track without becoming wet is nearly impossible. But to win, you'll have to be the fastest who reaches the end of the track, without becoming wet. Of course you're allowed to get wet after you finished. Since 2010, the Belgian broadcaster vtm also participate, together with the TROS
