Taylor Joseph Featherston (born October 8, 1989) is an American professional baseball infielder for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of Major League Baseball.
Career
Featherston graduated from James E. Taylor High School in Katy, Texas. He attended Texas Christian University (TCU), where he played college baseball for the TCU Horned Frogs baseball team.[1]
The Colorado Rockies selected Featherston in the fifth round of the 2011 MLB Draft. The Chicago Cubs selected Featherston from the Rockies in the 2014 Rule 5 Draft, and then traded him to the Angels for cash considerations.[2] Featherston competed for a role with the Angels as a utility infielder in spring training.[3] The Angels carried Featherston as their backup infielder on their Opening Day roster.[4][5] He made his major league debut on April 12.[6]
