Taylor & Burns Architects is a LEED-accredited architectural firm founded in 1993 and based in Boston, Massachusetts. The firm has two principals, Robert J. Taylor and Carol Burns, and has designed for education, performing arts, worship and civic communities. They are especially known for their work in creating assembly spaces for large groups.

Robert J. Taylor, AIA, studied at the University of Waterloo and received his Master of Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture. He has worked for Cesar Pelli & Associates, served on the Board of Boston Society of Architects as Commissioner of Honors and Awards, been a visiting critic at Yale, Harvard, MIT and RISD, and written articles for numerous publications.

Carol Burns, FAIA, studied at Bryn Mawr College and Yale University and received her Master of Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture. She has written and researched extensively and has taught at Yale, Harvard, MIT and other schools, serving as the director of the Harvard Institute of Affordable Housing. She co-founded a Boston Society of Architects' program for Architectural Research Grants and currently serves as the chair of the Boston Art Commission.[1]
