Taunton Public Library is the public library of Taunton, Massachusetts. It is located on Pleasant Street, in a building which was designed by Albert R. Ross, and built in 1903 from Indiana limestone. The building's construction was made possible by a gift of $70,000 from industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.[2]
In 1979, a large addition (non-contributing) was added to the rear of the original 1903 building.
