International career

He also entered Macedonian football history. Prior to that, the youngest to debut for Macedonia was Goran Pandev. Before Sulejmanov, Pandev held that mark at 17 years, 10 months and 11 days during the friendly match against Turkey on the 6th of June, 2001.[2]
Tauljant Sulejmanov accepted call from Interim manager Vujadin Stanojkovikj , Macedonia U21 will travel to Cyprus, not to face the U21 national team of this island nation, but rather the one of Israel. Due to the conflict in the Gaza Strip, UEFA decided to move all pf the international matches of Israel to a neutral field and the IFA decided to play as host at Cyprus.
Israel beat Macedonia 3:0 in Skopje on 13 August 2014 and will once again strive for the win as they are fighting to be among the 4 best runners-up in order to enter the qualification play-offs. While Israel has already secured the second place in the group, Macedonia is struggling to avoid finishing last. Macedonia has 4 points, same as Azerbaijan, but the Azeris have two game to play as they first host Israel on Wednesday and later travel to group winners Portugal.
Macedonia U17 national team drew against Romania in the first qualifying match for EURO 2013. Macedonia is in Group 10 along with Ireland, Romania and Sweden, the match was played 30 September 2012 and Macedonia got a point in a 1:1 draw.
