Tasya van Ree (April 30, 1976)[1] is an American artist and photographer based in Los Angeles.[2] She was raised in Hawaii and had been a surfer.[3]
Career
Van Ree is known for her black and white photographs of celebrities, including Michelle Rodriguez,[4] Katherine Moennig[5] and Matt Dallas. In several interviews, she refers to actress Amber Heard as her main muse.[6][7] In a more recent exhibit in 2014, van Ree chose a very different subject matter, photos of toys and popular object, printed in full color.[3]
Her work has been exhibited in several cities[6][7] and magazines.[8][9]
In addition to photography, van Ree makes short films and does painting jobs.[10]

Personal life
Van Ree dated actress Amber Heard, from 2008[12] until the couple broke up in 2011. Heard and van Ree continue to be friends.[13]
