Anastasia Katya Breezy "Tasie" Dhanraj,[2] better known by her stage name Tasie Lawrence,[3] is a British actress who is known for her character Mara Jaffray on Nickelodeon's international show House of Anubis.
Early life
Lawrence was born on December 22 in England, 1990 to an English mother and a Indo-Guyanese father. She has one sister, Tasha Dhanraj, a writer and a student at The University of Oxford.
Career
Lawrence is a singer/songwriter and is a former member of the band WooWoos.
In 2011, Lawrence landed a main cast role in Nickelodeon's new drama/soap opera series House of Anubis; which she has currently appeared in up to and inclusive, the third season.
In August 2013, it was announced on the industry website, Deadline, that Lawrence had been cast in a lead role in an upcoming HBO comedy pilot, written by Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddin.[4]
On February 1st 2014, Lawrence's House of Anubis co-star Alex Sawyer, released on his VEVO page, the music video for his debut single Relapse, featuring Lawrence. The single itself was released in late 2013.
