Tariq Abo Gamra born 24 February 1996 is a British-Egyptian author and student and lives in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. His first book „Gropus – Die Legende der fünf Steine“ is being published on Amazon and is the first part of a science-fiction row.[1] In his free time he works at the Red Cross as a paramedical assistant.

Biography

Tariq Abo Gamra was born on the 24th of February 1996 and grew up in Munich. He participated at the project „DENK MAL – Erinnerung im öffentlichen Raum“[2] at his school, the Gisela Gymnasium.[3] Together with other students Abo Gamra erected a plaque at the entrance of the school in remembrance of the murdered and prosecuted jewish students in Nazigermany.[4] A commemoration ceremony took place on the 10th of November 2014. Tariq Abo Gamra and the project received letters from German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the German President Joachim Gauck congratulating them. The Project was supported by the International Tracing Service. On the 22th of November Tariq Abo Gamra took place at a Anti-Pegida-Demonstration in Munich, in which he criticized the hatred against immigrants.[5] Tariq Abo Gamra is publishing his first book „Gropus – Die Legende der fünf Steine“ – a science-fiction book for teenagers. He has already finished a poem collection and is currently working on the second part of „Gropus“ and a fairy tale and short story collection.
