Tapan Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi musician.[1] He is a former member of the musical group Souls.

Career

In the beginning of his career in the 1970s, Tapan was associated with Souls. Later, he started to work as a solo singer.[2] his career began when he sang in a duet album with singer Mitali Mukherjee. Then, he sang the romantic duet "Tumi Amar, Prothom Sokalbela" with singer Shakila Zafar. Baut, he went to USA and returnned home after two decades. Singer Arnab Chowdhury is his nephew.
