Tanusree Chakraborty is an Indian Bengali Actress by Profession. She is working in Bengali Film Industry in Kolkata,India as an Actress in Different Feature Films & Television Shows from last 6 to 7 years.

Tanusree came into limelight after her excellent performances in Bengali Films like - Uro Chithi (2011), Bedroom (2012), Obhishopto Nighty (2014), Window Connections (2014), Buno Haansh (2014), Khaad (2014) etc.

Before entering into Acting Profession she was a Professional Model. She did many Modelling Assignments as a professional model for various company & brand's advertisements.

Along with Films she is doing various Television Shows. Recently she is Hosting & doing Anchoring in a Beauty & Lifestyle related TV show named 'Sampurna' in Zee Bangla Channel.

Right Now she is the Brand Ambassador of Club Salon & Glamour World Ayurvedic Co Pvt Ltd.

Early life

Chakraborty born in Hyderabad, India, was a student of Kamala Girls' High School and later studied political science for graduation at the Basanti Devi College, a University of Calcutta affiliate.[1]

Career

Chakraborty got opportunity to work as a model after passing school. At that time she did not have enough idea on modelling. She worked as a model for a short time and worked in numerous advertisements. Among which she did a Bangladeshi commercial of Pran Powder Spice which was very popular in both bengals. She came into prominence after 2011 film Uro Chithi.[1]
