Tanishaa Mukerji (born 3 March 1981) is an Indian film actress and television presenter. She participated in the television reality show Bigg Boss 7 and was the first runner up.[2]
Early life
Tanisha Mukherjee was born on March 3, 1981 to Shomu Mukherjee and Tanuja. She is the younger sister of actress Kajol and actor Ajay Devgan is her brother-in-law. She is 7 years younger to Kajol. Her cousins are Rani Mukherjee, Sharbani Mukherjee and Mohnish Behl, who are also Bollywood actors, whereas her cousin Ayan Mukerji is a director. Her paternal grandfather Sashadhar Mukherjee, was a film director and producer in the Bombay film industry and was regarded as a stalwart. Tanisha's grandmother Satirani Devi was the sister of three great film personalities Ashok Kumar, Anup Kumar and Kishore Kumar. Joy Mukherjee and Deb Mukherjee are her uncles.
