Tan Yinglan (陈映岚) is a Singaporean. He is Venture Partner at Sequoia Capital India and the author of "The Way Of The VC - Top Venture Capitalists On Your Board."[1] and "Chinnovation - How Chinese Innovators are Changing the World",[2] both published by John Wiley & Sons and New Venture Creation - Entrepreneurship for the 21st Century - An Asian Perspective, published by Mcgraw-Hill. Yinglan has been featured in CNBC, The Deal, Nature, Dragon TV, CCTV (China’s largest TV network), China Daily, Channel Newsasia, Business Today (Business Magazine) (India), The Korea Times, Business FM 89.9 (Malaysian), The Edge (Singapore) and Business Lines (India). Yinglan has been named by the World Economic Forum as Young Global Leader 2012 and is a Global Agenda Council Member on Fostering Entrepreneurship from 2011-2012, and selected as one of 100 Leaders Of Tomorrow by the St. Gallen Symposium in 2010. In 2010, Yinglan was also named as a Kauffman Fellow. Yinglan was educated at Harvard (as a JFK Fellow), Stanford (Masters in Mgmt Sci.) and Carnegie Mellon (Dual Degrees in ECE and Econs).
