Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum is a 2014 Indian Tamil Action Romance film directed by debutant Premsai, former television actor who had earlier assisted Prabhu Deva and produced by Gautham Menon.[2] It stars Jai and Yami Gautam in the lead roles. The film, featuring film score and soundtrack composed by Karthik is also being simultaneously shot in Telugu as Courier Boy Kalyan.

The singer turned composer Karthik who debuted as the music director in film Aravaan will do the music for this film. This film will feature Santhanam and Ganesh in important roles.[3] Initially Samantha Ruth Prabhu was announced to do the female role. It was secondly reported that the female lead role would be portrayed by Abhinaya.[4] Later Richa Gangopadhyay replaced her.[5] Finally, the role went to Yami Gautam who signed her second film in Kollywood.[6] Yami Gautam has stated that her character Kavya, works in a khadi store.[7]
