Tamatoa IV (1797â1857) was the king of Raiatea from 1831 to 1857
Tahitoe was born in 1797. He was son of Tamatoa III king of Raiatea and Princess Tu-rai-ari'i his wife. His mother was a daughter of Queen Tehaapapa I of Huahine.
