Taman Connaught

Taman Connaught (Chinese: ----) is a main township in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is strategically located at the confluence of three major roads namely, Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2, East-West Link Expressway and Cheras Highway. The Cheras Leisure Mall is situated near there, and most inhabitants of Taman Connaught often go to Leisure Mall for shopping and meeting up with friends.

Taman Connaught Pasar Malam

Taman Connaught has a longest pasar malam (night market) in Malaysia. This 2 km long with 700 stalls night market along Jalan Cerdas is possibly the biggest and longest night market in Klang Valley. The night market is open only on Wednesdays from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am. Taman Connaught Pasar Malam serves many of the residents here who come from all parts of Cheras as well as students in UCSI University who stay around here. The night market is primarily known for the variety of food available. From “stinky” tofu to asam laksa, there is something for every food connoisseur out there to enjoy.

TNB's high tension powerlines near Taman Connaught

The 275kv and 132kv Tenaga Nasional Berhad, TNB's high tension powerline is built near Taman Connaught. Many of Taman Connaught's citizens have protested these issues.
