Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, known in Japan as Tales of Symphonia: Unisonant Pack (テイルズ オブ シンフォニア ユニゾナントパック Teiruzu Obu Shinfonia Yunizonanto Pakku), is a high-definition remaster of the PlayStation 2 edition of the video game Tales of Symphonia and the Wii game Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.[2] It is developed and published by Namco Bandai Games. The game was released in Japan on October 10, 2013, February 25, 2014 for North America, and February 28, 2014 for Europe and Australasia.[2]
Games
Tales of Symphonia Chronicles includes the PlayStation 2 port of Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. New cosmetic additions were made such as illustrations and costumes. In addition, the North American and European editions of Chronicles feature dual audio, allowing players to select from either English or Japanese voice tracks for both games.[3]
Development
In May 2013, a high-definition remaster of Tales of Symphonia and Dawn of the New World was rumored by a Spanish news site to be in development on the PlayStation 3.[4] On June 1, 2013 during the Tales of Festival in Japan, the collection was officially announced along with its Japanese release date.[2] That same day, a North American and European localization was confirmed on Namco Bandai Games's European YouTube channel.[5] In Japan, the first run of the game will include a greeting card, a special video, and a PlayStation 3 theme.[2] Two other limited edition sets were also announced.[2]
