Tales Told by Dead Friends is the debut EP from Tallahassee band Mayday Parade.

Music

• "When I Get Home, You're So Dead" is the only song from this EP to be re-recorded with an electric guitar for their debut album, A Lesson in Romantics (2007).
• "Your Song" was later re-recorded acoustically for the band's Valdosta (2011) EP, with Jake Bundrick taking over Jason Lancaster's vocal parts.
• "Three Cheers for Five Years" was also re-recorded acoustically, but for Punk Goes Acoustic 2. It was later released as a bonus track for A Lesson in Romantics.

Release

It was originally self-released by the band, but has since been re-released by Fearless. To support the album, the band followed the Warped Tour and sold copies to people standing in line.^[5] The Fearless-released edition was released on November 7, 2006.^{[nb 1][7]} The EP sold over 20,000 copies to date.^[5] A vinyl version was released on December 2, 2013, limited to 1,000 copies.^{[nb 2][9]}
