Tala (Russian: Тала) is a rural locality (a selo), and one of two settlements in Babushkinsky Rural Okrug of Verkhoyansky District in the Sakha Republic, Russia, in addition to Ulakhan-Kyuyol, the administrative center of the Rural Okrug. It is located 126 kilometers (78 mi) from Batagay, the administrative center of the district and 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) from Ulakhan Kyuyol. Its population as of the 2002 Census was 0.[1]
