Taichung Station (Chinese: 臺中車站 or 台中車站; pinyin: Táizhōng Chēzhàn) is a railway station on the Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) Western Line (Mountain Line) located in Central District, Taichung City, Taiwan.
Overview
The station has one side platform and one island platform. The architecture dates from the era of Japanese rule. The station and tracks within the city are slated to be replaced by an elevated station and tracks, which are currently being constructed.
