Taepodong
The name Taepodong (Korean: 대포동, meaning "large watery place") can refer to various topics related to North Korea:
- Musudan-ri, a rocket launching facility located in an area once known as Taepo-dong when Korea was occupied by Japan. That area is now divided between North and South Korea.
- Taepodong-1, a North Korean missile tested on August 31, 1998 at Musudan-ri.
- Taepodong-2, a North Korean intercontinental ballistic missile tested on July 4, 2006.
