Tadashi Abe (astronomer)

Tadashi Abe (born 1943) is a Japanese amateur astronomer who taught high school from 1966 to 2004. He poured his considerable observational talents into the field of astronomical photometry, producing a number of scientific papers and a thesis based on his discoveries. Minor planet 12787 Abetadashi is named in his honor.[1]
