TV Globinho

TV Globinho is a popular children's television program produced by Rede Globo It is dedicated to cartoons and broadcast since July 3, 2000. The strand was responsible for introducing several cartoons and anime that became the most successful in recent years, such as Dragon Ball Z and GT, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Digimon, Beyblade, Yu-Gi-Oh!, SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly OddParents, The Penguins of Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, The Simpsons, Totally Spies, Dungeons and Dragons, and live action shows, such as Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight, Wizards of Waverly Place, Power Rangers, Kenan & Kel, Drake & Josh, iCarly, and others, being the most watched children's show on Brazilian TV.

In 2012 the program went off the air on weekdays but since then, it now broadcasts only on Saturdays, losing its weekday morning timeslot for the talkshow Encontro com Fátima Bernardes which caused a great uproar among the Brazilian public.
