T. Rex were a British rock band, formed in 1968 by singer/songwriter and guitarist Marc Bolan.

The T. Rex discography consists of four "Tyrannosaurus Rex" and nine "T. Rex" studio albums. Also 22 compilation albums, seven live albums, two extended plays, six (Tyrannosaurus Rex) and 22 (T. Rex) singles.

The group came to an end after Bolan's death in a car crash in September 1977.
