Synodontis greshoffi, known as the Congo Synodontis is a species of upside-down catfish native to the Congo Basin of Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of the Congo. This species grows to a length of 26.6 centimetres (10.5 in) TL. It has creamy white bands against a brown background coloration.

The Congo Synodontis is placid. It prefers livefoods but will accept tablets and is best kept at a temperature of 73-81 F (23 - 27 C), a pH of 6.5 - 7.0 and a hardness of 50 - 200 mgl.
