Sylte Church (Norwegian: Sylte kyrkje) is a parish church in Norddal Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the village of Valldal, which is also known as Sylte. The church is part of the Norddal parish in the Austre Sunnmøre deanery in the Diocese of Møre. The white, wooden church was built in 1863 by the architect Nils Liaaen. The church seats about 350 people. The present church is not the first church located on this site. There is evidence that there was a stave church at Sylte in the Middle Ages, and another church from 1812 until 1863, when the present church was built.[1][2]
