Sydney Wayser (born October 7, 1986) is a French-American, New York-based singer-songwriter who plays guitar and piano. Wayser grew up in Los Angeles, California, while spending her summers in Paris. The Louvre Palace and the Orangerie being only a few blocks from her apartment, she quickly gleaned much of French culture from her songwriter father, leading her to musical influences that include Edith Piaf, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Jacques Brel, among many others.
Wayser has toured with artists like Kaki King and played festivals such as South by Southwest, Canadian Music Fest, and Wanderlust Festival. She was featured on Last Call with Carson Daly on March 29, 2012 when she discussed filming nervously in an open door aircraft through her brother's direction.
