The general order of precedence in Sweden at the annual opening of the Riksdag is as follows:

  1. The Monarch and spouse.
  2. The Speaker of the Riksdag and spouse.
  3. The Prime Minister and spouse.
  4. The Marshal of the Realm and spouse.
