Swedish Muslims for Peace and Justice

Swedish Muslims for Peace and Justice is a Swedish Muslim peace organization. It was founded in 2008 by a group including the Swedish Parliamentarian Mehmet Kaplan and is today one of the largest peace groups in Sweden [1] It is headed by Yasri Khan.[2]

The group has been active with educational and leadership programs.[3] It also has some international work[4][5] in Egypt,[6][7] Thailand, Palestine etc. They work from a European Muslim perspective and go by the slogan "By Muslims for society". They also work against racism and discrimination and have criticized a racist party (Sverigedemokraterna) in Sweden.[8]

The organization has been active against all forms of terrorism[9]
