Sverre Hjelle Økland (born 19 June 1993) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Kristiansund. He played for Aalesund and Løv-Ham before he joined Kristiansund BK in the summer of 2012.

Club career

Økland was born in Ålesund.[1] Økland made his debut for Aalesunds FK on 20 June 2009 against Rosenborg, they lost the game 3-0. Økland became the youngest player to play in Tippeligaen, he was 16 years and one day.

Økland was loaned out to Løv-Ham in 2011. Økland played the first part of the 2012 season in Aalesund, before signing with his current club Kristiansund in July 2012.
