Novels

Lowcountry Boil

Private investigator Liz Talbot returns to her home of Stella Maris, South Carolina for her grandmother’s funeral. When her brother, the chief of police, tells Liz that their grandmother was murdered, she moves back home to find the killer. John Malik of Huffington Post said, "It's a simmering gumbo of a story full of spice, salt, heat and shrimp."[8]

Lowcountry Bombshell

Released in 2013 by Henery Press. Liz Talbot works to uncover a diabolical murder plot in time to save Marilyn Monroe-lookalike Calista McQueen's life and her own. Sara Reyes of Kirkus Reviews said, "this is the story that keeps you flipping the pages until late at night".[9] Oline Cogdill described it in the Sun-Sentinel as: "A light mystery melded with the private detective genre has proved to be a winner."[10]

Lowcountry Boneyard

The third book in the Liz Talbot series will be released April 21, 2015. Liz Talbot is hired to locate a missing Charleston, South Carolina heiress. Charlaine Harris said: "Lowcountry Boneyard has everything you could want in a traditional mystery: a credible and savvy protagonist, a meaty mystery, and setting that will make you want to spend time in South Carolina. I enjoyed every minute of it."[11]

Lowcountry Bordello

The fourth book in the Liz Talbot series will be released in 2015. Liz Talbot is hired to investigate one of her oldest friends, and ends up in the thick of a scandal with bodies.
