Susan Bright
Susan Bright is a British writer and curator of photography. She is the former assistant curator at the National Portrait Gallery in London, as well as having been Curator at the Association of Photographers and Acting Director of Photography at Sotheby’s Institute.[1] She was a freelance interviewer for the British Library's Oral History of British Photography project.[2]
Career
In 2007, Bright co-curated with Val Williams the exhibition How We Are: Photographing Britain for Tate Britain.[3]
Bright now lives in New York City where she teaches at the School of Visual Arts. She holds a master's degree in Art History and Critical Theory from Goldsmith's College, where she also is currently pursuing a PhD in Curating.
